2020 International Pizza Challenge at International Pizza Expo

The International Pizza Challange is the largest Pizza making competition in USA. There are five divisions in the competition, attracting approximately 200 pizzaioli. The five divisions include Traditional, Non-Traditional, Pan, Pizza Napoletana and Roman. The contest is open only to owners, managers, chefs or employees 18 years or older from the restaurant and pizzeria industries. Pizzas for the Traditional, Non-Traditional, Pan and Roman divisions will be scored by an expert panel of judges on the basis of taste, creativity and appearance. The Pizza Napoletana division will be judged on preparation, taste, use of the oven and time.

At The International Pizza Expo, Riccardo Birghillotti, will bake in the Middleby booth #731. Riccardo is a previous winner of the Swedish Pizza Competition "Pizza Champion Cup" and came on 12:th place at the European Pizza Championship in November. Riccardo will also compete in the Traditional division at The International Pizza Challange.
