Tromsø bakery delivers freshed baked goods baked with Sveba Dahlen rack oven I-Series every day

At Tromsø Bakeri, the ovens are in near constant use. They bake bread, rolls, vanilla custard buns, cake bases, muffins and pan loaves. Since moving to a new, 1600 m2 plant in 2018, both the delivered products and efficiency have improved.

Tromsø Bakeri is owned by Vidar Wiik, John Hanssen, Kristian Wiik, Torbjørn Kristiansen and Andreas Wiik, and has annual sales of approximately NOK 32 million. Tromsø Bakeri is a semi-industrial bakery, as well as a niche bakery, with strong baking and confectionery expertise with the focus on delivering the freshest bakery and confectionery products of the highest quality.

At Tromsø Bakeri, the baking process has been further improved since moving to the new plant. The yeast times are now longer and baking takes place later, which means they can deliver fresher products and with higher quality. We at Sveba Dahlen are proud to be a part of the process. The bakery has a Glimek dough line consisting of a CR360 conical rounder, IPP8/22 intermediate pocket prover and a MO881 moulder that produces pieces of dough at a high rate. The products are baked in electric Sveba Dahlen ovens, and these are the largest industrial rack ovens chosen for the bakery – a V-Series V50, as well as three I-Series I60 ovens. They provide good baking flexibility, good baking results and good reliability.

The SD-Touch panel makes baking easy!

All ovens are equipped with SD-Touch panels, which are reliable, user-friendly and a good solution for planning and recipe handling. They are incredibly satisfied with their bakery and the products produced. The goal is to be the city's freshest and leading in production and innovation. This places demands on both the individual employees and the bakery's machines. The products have to be fresh, inviting, smell good and TASTE GREAT!
